Image Restoration
Some of the things we can do:
- Repair torn and missing corners
- Patch together completely torn images
- Adjust colour-casts on old photographs
- Bring back definition into faded photographs
- Eliminate red-eye in portraits
- Repair creases and discolourations
- Remove mould and stain damage
- Isolate a person in a group photo to make a new solo photo.
- Add someone to a group photo
- Enhance a portrait to remove wrinkles, moles, whiten teeth, even out skin tones.
We will discuss with you what you would like to achieve with photo
restoration
or enhancement and advise what we feel is achieveable.
Our charges are very reasonable, see guideline below:

What to do next
- Send your photo to us by registered mail or other traceable method.
- Be sure to take any photographs out of frames first. If a photograph is stuck to the glass, do not try to remove it, but carefully bubble wrap and protect the glass before you mail it. We can normally obtain a good scan through the glass.
- If you don't want to send the original, you may want to obtain a high resolution digital scan locally and then send us the image on a CD. We can only undertake work this way if the scan is of sufficient quality.
- If you know what you would like you can just send us the image with instructions and we will contact you only if we need clarification.
- Enclose a cheque payable to PhotoDiva.
We will return your original photo and include a print at an agreed size. We can print to gloss or pearl or matt finish paper and arrange for the image to be printed on canvas if required. These services are extra and prices depend on what you would like. We can normally complete work and return your image within ten days.
If you send us original images we will take care of them as if they were our own. However we accept no responsibility for loss or damage howsoever caused while your pictures are in our possession. Sending your pictures to us denotes your acceptance of these terms. If you are in any way dissatisfied just return the prints within 10 days for a no-quibble refund.
